Raymond Clum for President in 2012!

Welcome to my website where I hope to share with you my story and my beliefs about America, what is good, what is right and what should be changed.

 

Politicans in Washington have been at the beck and call of special interests for so many years they have lost all ability to do what is right for their actual constituents, you, the voter.

 

Polticians in Washington are generally multi-millionares who don’t struggle with the same issues as you and I.  They don’t struggle with deciding to buy groceries or buy your son’s medicine.  They don’t struggle with deciding which bill to pay and which to float another month so you can try to get food for your family and keep a roof over your head.  They don’t struggle trying to work two or three jobs just to pay the bills because they are millionaires who can afford to fly back to San Francisco on their own jet, Ms. Pelosi, or owned part of the Texas Ranges, President Bush, or sat on the board of directors of Halliburton, VP Cheney.

 

What they have come to lack, is the common sense most of us Americans have been born with.  They don’t realize that Americans can prevail against most, if not all, circumstances.  They don’t believe that America is still the Bright City on the Hill, beckoning those who are tired, poor and the huddled masses yearning to be free.  They don’t believe that America is the greatest nation on earth where anything can happen and anyone can succeed.  They have lost their sense of awe at simply being an American and all of the rights and freedoms that brings.

 

I haven’t forgotten.  In the words of Ronald Reagan, I haven’t forgotten that our freedom isn’t more than one generation away from extension.  We didn’t pass it down to our children in the bloodstream.  It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

 

It is because of this belief in America and in my fellow American’s that I ask for your support for my run for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2012. 

 

America is facing many issues and many dangers on the world’s stage, from the Bush-Obama Recession, the War on Terror, what to do about Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Russia, the middle East conflict, Abortion, Racism, Gay Marriage, Taxes, Teen Pregnancy, the crisis in the family.  What American needs is a Common Man with Common Sense Solutions.
